Youth Piano/Keyboard Beginner (Ages 5–14)

Learn to play the piano/keyboard from the beginning with the help of illustrated songbooks created by a trained teacher. Classes are held in a group setting and students will learn a variety of different song selections from the instructor. Bring your own keyboard (with batteries or adapter to plug in) to class. No class Nov. 25.

Music Jam Session (All Ages)

This is your chance to play any musical instrument you have played or play now in an informal music group. Bring your instrument and any music books you have and we will build a music repertoire and an instant band! All instruments welcome.

Advanced Youth Guitar (Ages 5–14)

This class is for students who have taken any guitar classes before and who want to advance into higher levels. Bring your own guitar to class.

Magic for Beginners (Ages 5–12)

Amaze family and friends with tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mind reading and more. This class teaches you easy ways to perform new tricks. All materials are provided, and each child receives a magic kit to take home. Children are grouped by age and always learn age- appropriate tricks. Location: Bloomingdale Park District, 172 South Circle Ave.

Fencing – Sword Play (Ages 8 & 14)

Fencing (sword fighting) is an excellent sport for children and adults of all ages. It develops coordination, builds strength, speed and endurance, requires good sportsmanship, and builds quick decision-making skills. It is a near perfect-blend of highly aerobic work that simultaneously requires explosive, strength-based movement. Instructors will work with athletes of any age to teach them this beautiful unique sport. * No Class Oct. 6th or Nov. 24th

Fencing Team (Ages 14 & Up)

Improve your fencing game. Continue to learn strategies of attack and defense. All participants must have completed Level I.
