Parking Ticket Review
Recipients of a parking ticket may take one of the following steps to address a parking and/or ordinance compliance violation(s):
  • Pay the fines and fees, accepted via the mail or in person at the Department, which deem the violation satisfied.

  • Complete a Review of Citation form, which will be reviewed first by the officer who issued the citation and then by the Watch Commander for final determination. A printable version of the Review of Citation form is available through the link below. All Review of Citation forms must be turned in to the Police Department Records section in person.

  • Request an adjudicatory hearing. As specified on the violatorís copy of the citation, the violator must appear in person, during normal business hours to make such request. The Records Section will prepare and maintain all forms of requested hearings, and process all hearings through the Village Attorney. The violator retains the right to appeal the hearing officerís decision to the DuPage County Circuit Court.

  • Request a court trial for the violation(s). As specified on the violatorís copy of the citation, the violator must appear in person during normal business hours to make such request. The Records Section will then schedule a court date and time for the violator based on the issuing officer's traffic court schedule. Once a request for a court trial has been made, payment of fines and fees shall not be accepted by any Village of Glendale Heights employee, but must be paid directly to the DuPage County Circuit Clerk
