The primary goal and responsiblity of the Purchasing Division is to obtain the best value possible for the taxpayer's dollar, within the rules and regulations that govern public purchase of goods and services. The Village strives to purchase at the lowest possible cost, consistent with the needs of the user department.

The Village of Glendale Heights seeks quotations, bids, and requests for proposals (RFPs) for the purchase and acquisition of equipment, supplies, materials, and professional services. Small purchases are acquired through obtaining prices and quotations with vendors interested in doing business with the Village. Higher value purchases are acquired under a competitive bid or request for proposal process. We encourage firms interested in doing business with the Village to submit information relating to their business for future consideration in purchasing opportunities.
