The Village Administrator position is the chief appointed officer of the Village and is appointed by the Village President, with the advice and consent of the Village Board. The Village Administrator ensures that all significant Board actions are transmitted to the appropriate departments for implementation or action, thus providing a coordinated approach to the management of the Village.
The Assistant Village Administrator is responsible for administrative and managerial work assisting the Village Administrator in all phases of Village operations. The Assistant Village Administrator is responsible for providing guidance and direction to ensure the efficient management and effective operation of Village services. The Assistant Village Administrator also serves as the Human Resources Director.
