Public Hearing Notices


The Village of Glendale Heights will hold public hearings to allow residents and businesses of the Village an opportunity to learn about upcoming business coming up for consideration before the Plan Commission or Zoning Administrator. The Village will post notices for any upcoming Public Hearings below as well as in local newspapers.

Notice of Public Hearing

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing has been scheduled before the Glendale Heights Plan Commission at 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Glendale Heights Civic Center, 300 Civic Center Plaza, Glendale Heights, Illinois to consider an application for Conditional Uses to allow an open sales lot as a principal use and to allow an auto repair facility. The application is being made by JSBM Properties, LLC., 433 E. North Avenue, Glendale Heights, IL 60139. Said property is located on the southeast corner of North Avenue and Western Avenue legally described as: LOT 2 IN WESTERN AVENUE SUBDIVISION BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 2 AND BEING PART OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 3, BOTH IN TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED DECEMBER 27, 2016 AS DOCUMENT NUMBER R2016-143192, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS. At the Public Hearing, all interested people will be given an opportunity to be heard. Section 11-4-13 D, 2 - To permit outdoor storage without screening on the north, south, east, and west sides of the property. 2. Section 11-10C-4B, 1 Note 1 – To decrease the minimum lot width along a regional arterial street from 200 feet to 75 feet in width. 3. Section 11-10C-4D, 1 – To decrease the front and corner side yard parking lot setback from twenty feet (20’) feet to ten feet (10’) along North Avenue and Western Avenue.
